exalted: last.fm records what you play and makes recommendations of stuff you would like (and provides radio streams for those too)

exalted: musicbrainz ensures that the meta data in your files is correct

the relationship between them is, last.fm also likes you to have accurate meta data for it to be useful, and uses musicbrainz as the gold standard for that metadata

lol ok its a question on the album cover.. once u have got the correct songs in the album.. it finds the album cover in the bottom right.. well is there anyway of saving it to the folder you are saving the tracks to ?

cos then WMP can pick it up.

maybe you should try amarok, it uses all of them at once (lookups to fix mp3 tags from musicbrainz, submissions to last.fm, gets recommendations from last.fm and can automatically play next whatever last.fm recommends, if you have it)

i suspect there's others can do some or all of that

(and there's a nice script you can run to automate completley ignoring the license and putting the pictures in the album directory instead :)
