I'm really suprised that so many people care about the correct date and country. The most boring stuff imo, plus it's guesswork anyway most of the time

I pretty much add it only to Finnish releases.

At minimum I'd say it's release for Europe - somehow I find it hard to believe they'd really release it only for Austria :P

Often I have a playlist in m3u, then I change paths or something, maybe "move files" with a new syntax in picard, and the m3u is not valid anymore. Is there some other way of keeping playlist that is based on the musicbrainz_trackid which won't change in that situation? Some applications that supports musicbrainz tags?

you have m3us stored outside the album folder?

otherwise you could just use relative paths when creating them

Hehe, I thoght maybe I could write something that stored all trackids and use that later in case something changes, but if there already were an application (amarok, or similar) that supported, it would be easier

hm, I made a plugin for picard but where can I upload it to?

Picard is being rather odd now, when I do "Scan" it doesn't seem to generate a PUID for any of the files and just skips through them. I have libofa installed so any ideas why else it may do that?

Hrm, it says no decoders found which is complete nonsense as I compiled it with ffmpeg support

Any guesses as to what SUSE wants installed to make fingerprinting work? It's not ffmgeg, libtunepimp5-mad, libofa, ... "no decoders found"

FauxFaux, Basically Picard doesn't work with the new one, you either need to patch Picard or roll back FFMPEG. I had exactly the same problem

Maybe I could somehow get the Linux version of the Mixer to work if I really wanted, but I simply prefer commandline tools over GUIs.
