sorts flacs, and different groups to different computers, different naming for some groups etc

this will need to be changed, because it makes impossible to add releases with a discid under existing release group, but I'm not sure how yet

I've got a release that has got a transliteration pseudo-release, i'd like to put them into a group, how do I do that?

Merging is rather difficult now, since you never know which release with the same name is which :)

if you merge three releases with the same name, you have to remember which is which, since the edits won't be done by then yet

So you'll merge 1->2 and then try to merge 3 to somewhere and can't distinguish 1 from 2

release groups

if you are merging 3 release groups with the same name, then it basically doesn't matter which one you merge into

currently there are three RGs: 1, 2 and 3 since auto-merging failed for those

How does merging work? I clicked merge under the RG, but it only gives me one option, not two.

Ah, okay I understand now; it does add it to the stack, it just doesn't let you know that that has happened.

I see "Pork and Beans by Weezer" and "Das optimale Leben by Annett Louisan" on that page.

Although I'm still confused why RG1 automatically showed RG2, but RG2 doesn't show RG1 on the merge page.

I guess it depends on our (and BBC's ;)) definition of RG. I see logic in both ways...

another question: a big 32-cd series, is it a release group?
