Why not have your own paste handler?
      • So you copy as normal and then paste into the userscript’s stuff
      • brianfreud
I also don't quite see how the UI would work for that - either you catch *every* "copy" on any page, which is a big security issue, or you have to turn on the selection mode, in which case you might as well just left click instead of right click -> "copy image"
      • What I could see is eventually adding a context menu option "send image to CAA editor".
      • hawke_1
I was thinking of it more as having those images (or the CAA editor box on the right) being pasteable
      • brianfreud
That'll have to wait until that API's better supported though; atm, it's FF only.
      • hawke_1
        Which one?
      • brianfreud
Same issue. Div's aren't inherently pasteable; you'd need to add a context menu option of some sort "paste image from clipboard". (It's actually "paste image url from clipboard"; if you just were dumping some pixels from Photoshop, the browser wouldn't have a clue what to do with it)
      • when Chrome adds support, it sounds like it'd be doable that way
      • atm, chrome only supports it for extensions, not userscripts/general js
      • hawke_1
        Hmm
      • reosarevok
        Hmm
      • Is "Cartridge" a game cartridge?
      • (in format)
      • hawke_1
        Yes.
      • Wait, no
      • 8-track cartridge
      • or 4-track
      • reosarevok
        So, what's a game cartridge'
      • hawke_1
        Dunno.
      • reosarevok
        Just digital?
      • culinko
grr, can't activate the "submit" button for fingerprints in picard :S
      • hawke_1
        Probably just digital
      • culinko: It won’t submit until there’s something to submit, i.e. if your track doesn’t have an acoustID that’s already linked to the recording
      • Also you need to enable acoustID if you haven’t
      • culinko
i have that stuff enabled, i submitted some of them in the past
      • hawke_1
        K
      • brianfreud
hawke_1, actually, the paste bit wouldn't even be needed; I'd just have (have to, actually) that copy context menu option do it the same way the script does it now.
      • reosarevok, digital or other, I think
      • hawke_1
culinko: Does your file show an acoustID value in the “Original Value” section?
      • reosarevok
        heh
      • culinko
        hmm nope
      • reosarevok
The same label also released a music + art .swf
      • wonder how that'd work
      • brianfreud
        badly?
      • hawke_1
culinko: And you moved it to a track? Then it should be submittable :-/
      • brianfreud
reosarevok, I wonder what swiffy would make of it
      • hawke_1
culinko: Oh — try moving it to the unmatched files tab and running 'scan' on it
      • culinko
        tried :S
      • maybe it's because i have unset some fields, dunno
      • hawke_1
bitmap or luks would probably be the ones to answer that then, I guess
      • reosarevok
culinko: in the worst case you can just run the standalone fingerprinter on them
      • culinko
i know, but i just submitted some files in the past but i have no idea what how did i activate the submit button
      • hawke_1
culinko: Can you double-check your options→fingerprinting tab?
      • make sure you have a path to fpcalc and an API key?
      • culinko
checked, use acoustid, my api key
      • hawke_1
        k
      • culinko
doing lookups, scans, moving files from left to right and the other way around
      • lookuping in browser, clicking "tagger" in browser, ...
      • gonna try restarting picard
      • hah now i know the trick
      • hawke_1
        do tell
      • culinko
removed one unset entry from the script. i thought i don't need to restart picard
      • hawke_1
        what entry was it?
      • culinko
        $unset(musicbrainz_trackid) :P
      • hawke_1
        That would do it. :-D
      • Maybe file a bug on it though, you should be able to submit even if you don’t want to save that to your files

http://musicbrainz.org/recording/cf60d5d8-5cda-... - sup with this, delete? and unlink acoustid?
      • one from the acoustids has actually 19 sources to this recording
      • systemww
huh, the db dump tarballs are what wikipedia calls "tarbombs"
      • jcazevedo joined the channel
      • ianmcorvidae
        yeah, they are
      • the import scripts export them to uniquely-named directories, presumably partly because of this

Is there a way to create a relationship will all tracks of a release at once?
      • reosarevok
ryanakca, yeah, "Relate to..." and pick "Relate to recordings"
      • (the answer is "no" for composer, though)
      • hawke_1 joined the channel
      • culinko
damn, what's the point of editing only 1 release+recording and leave other 20 releases alone? ah...
