Dozens of things are still broken after the recent outages. It would make sense to report anything _remaining_ after it’s thought that everything got fixed (perhaps next week or so).
Yurim
That bad? Oh dear
chirlu
Well, we had six tickets yesterday informing us that docs were broken. :)
I expect someone will report the missing logo on JIRA, too. (It’s a HTTPS wiki link.)
reosarevok: There are nine CPDL links in MB, in total. I’m not sure if it is worth the trouble to put those into the sidebar.
reosarevok
I mean, there would be more if people knew we could link it
But I just think we should at least have a default "score" link there
It's a bit weird that IMSLP shows up but other scores don't

but it is surprising an somewhat heartening that so many people are complaining about missing docs.. like yo usaid reo

Yurim: the wiki got moved to a new server yesterday, and the SSL certs are going to be installed shortly
and by "moved", I mean the old one crashed so it was quickly and hastily restored from a backup >.>
Yurim
legoktm: I'm fine. I just wanted to make sure that this issue is known.
legoktm
thanks, it definitely is :)

Can anybody explain the difference between a mixer and a DJ-mixer? Does the latter only do the transitions?
and a third term: remixer

Zastai
remixer is for a remix recording
mixer is the audio engineer that handles the mix (balancing the various channels)

DJ-mixer is generally release-wide and is the person who mixed separate recordings to form a whole (so yes, the transitions)
Yurim
So a DJ-mixer wouldn't be credited on the recording?
Zastai
(there should be an explanation for each relationship that is shown when you click the "(help)" in the popup; not sure if that sufficiently covers these cases though)
they would, but you'd generally find that credit on either all tracks for a disc, or at least for multiple adjacent tracks
they'd be on the recording because the DJ-mix means it shouldn't be merged with the "normal" form of the recording
Yurim
The MB relationship only exists for whole mediums.
Zastai
ok then, that makes sense too
it'll be a rare case where one release includes multiple separate DJ mixes
Yurim
Thanks, I can work with that
Zastai
the recordings will generally need to have a disambiguation to mark them as part of a DJ mix, to avoid them being merged with a regular recording by accident

I stand corrected, the DJ-mixer relationship is now also available for recordings.

New question: When should I use the artist-medium and when the artist-recording relationship for DJ-mixer?
That'S why I think the release and release group should be deleted, but I can't find any edit option to do that
Yurim
the release group will be deleted automatically once it is empty
the release has a delete link on the right side
El_Rico
Oh, there it is!
Thanks Yurim
Yurim
but before you do that, ask for a source. perhaps it is legit after all
El_Rico
Well, it was added before the purported release date and the offical band website has announced an album of a different name with a different release date since
How would I go about asking for a source, since the original add release edit was applied automatially?
Yurim
(I already did.) You can go to the "edits" page, click "add note" on that edit and "Submit edit notes and votes".
