apiuser: should be fine, yes. Only API searches will require you to generate search indexes (which should be part of the docker setup), lookups and browses don't need even a search server
apiuser
aha ok reosarevok so you mean I don't need to generate search index given on below page instructions.
apiuser: IIRC the -fetch option should download them directly
apiuser
aha ok.

hi2all. Can someone help me with filenaming script in picard?
outsidecontext
Darkloke: maybe, just ask :)
Darkloke
Ah, <outsidecontext>, its good that u here. I just saw ur examples.
I am trying to replace "/" with "~", but as the result i have "null data". Here is what i do
I made a script in "scripting" section: "$set(_title,$replace(%title%,/,~))"
My filenaming script th foillowing:
$set(_result, $num(%tracknumber%,2). %_title%)
$set(_result, $replace(%_result%,:,.))
$set(_result, $replace(%_result%,"",''))
$set(_result, $replace(%_result%,?,))
%_result%
Its ok in picard preview, but file has only tracknumber w/o title.
outsidecontext
replacing / won't work, because "/" is used as a separator for directories and is already replaced with "_" in the tags before running the script (because of names like "AC/DC")
but still the title should show up in the filename, that's strange

Darkloke: ah, sorry. you have that $set(_title,...) part in the scripting section. In that case slash replacement should work

Yeah, i followed ur example on the forum. :)
outsidecontext
have you reloaded the release?
after you had added the script for $set(_title) I mean
Darkloke
No, just tried to resave.
outsidecontext
the script is run onloading, so %_title% is not there. you can reload the release or run the script manually via context menu
Darkloke
Ah, i see now :)
Now it works, that for pointing this. :)
*thanks
outsidecontext
I would also suggest you change the naming script to use $if2(%_title%,%title%) instead of just %title%. That will fallback to the normal title tag if %_title% is not set
This way you can e.g. also use it for saving unmatched files on the left, for which scripts don't run automatically

darwin, it happens with many import scripts since MBS-11058
scripts will need to be updated I guess ? I don't know. I just use them
reosarevok
bitmap: ^ what can we do about that?
Lotheric
I've had problems with atisket tool and murdos discogs import script. Others had problems with deezer import script (darwin) and bandcamp import script (can't remember who)
