which are you talking about? I don’t think “Qemists” should be changed to “Chemists” for example.

he seems to show up as either "ID" or "I.D." with optional "MC"

on other releases

Well, of course featured artist style says it needs to go into the artist field anyway.

I would say that either way is acceptable. It should definitely be the same artist entity in the database, and preferably it should be the same as it is on the release itself, if you can find that.

but if you can’t, it’s OK to use either especially since he’s inconsistent on other releases.

hmm, i also noticed the record label uses "featuring" instead of "feat." and only does it on the one track. Should that be copied over, too?

we aren't supposed to copy info from Discogs, right? The only source used to create this release (http://musicbrainz.org/release/cb8dc626-fb6f-48...) was Discogs

I can't find it anywhere else that doesn't itself cite discogs

so... should we delete releases that had all their info gathered from Discogs? Isn't that a copyright violation?

And discogs' data is made available under public domain anyway

As far as I know, even if they *did* say not to copy the stuff, we could still copy it anyway, since they're facts, not creative info (so it still wouldn't be subject to copyright in the US where both discogs and MB are)

Luckily, there's no need to do that since they (as most other places like that) have open licenses :)

apart from that, often people have the relase in hand, but don't state that, since they can't easily prove it anyways.

But it's Audio Warfare's release, hence why he has credit at the release level.

hey CatCat and nikki : You don’t really need a userjs to deactivate lightbox… Opera natively bypasses any javascript with middle+click, it opens the picture without lightbox this way too…

I don't know which ancient browser you're using, but I find that going back works perfectly fine
