Ideally we'd be able to separate those, when we can add stuff as "album, whatever" ("album, remix", "album, soundtrack" etc) maybe I can convince people to add "mixtape" or something. We'll see

:)
in hip hop it helps
reosarevok
I know, hip hop and classical are the two things I edit more often :)
Reissue of the original that contains all 11 tracks from the first disc (although mixed in a different order) and also contains Midnight Calling (Fly Amanita Remix) by Mark Farina.
hawke_1
Yep
reosarevok: I forget, how do we handle CD-ROM-only second discs?
just 1 track, [data track]?
reosarevok
I don't think we know :)
hawke_1
Hehe
warp
hawke_1: that's how I would add them.
hawke_1
warp: Depending upon what’s on them I could see doing the second as “digital media”
warp
hawke_1: well yes, if the data is a set of music files, I'd be ok with that.
hawke_1
Looks like this one doesn’t do that, though
noobie: I fixed some of the acoustIDs from that release, but some are still questionable. You might want to look at that if you have the release
noobie
how do i edit the acoustids at mb?
ah
i see ^^
hm
acousticID vs ampliFIND ??
seems that acoustid is the better choice??
reosarevok
Yes
noobie
amplifind is goin to be dead soon..why is picard using it by default ???
reosarevok
It is not supposed to in the next version
noobie
k :)
when i do a right click -> details is picard showing the acoustID from the database or the acoustid created from my file?
I'd go with that in order to avoid the ugly, ugly ", Volume n" but that's just me :p
noobie
soo messy the label :o
no it says volume
lol
actually
it is different on every release
reosarevok
heh
noobie gives up
noobie
i'll just leave it as it is ^^
navap
The release editor really doesn't like it when you click previous :(
reosarevok
Doesn't it?
You mean how it unselects half of your choices?
navap
I've had different things happen when I try and go back to the tracklist page. Sometimes it's complained I haven't set artists (I have), and sometimes it can't load the tracklist at all
Moving forward to the recording page I find that everything's unselected
reosarevok
The latter always happens, yeah
MaskMaster joined the channel
noobie
