by the way, you can upload the back with the spines and select both back and spine as the types

so you're not *expected* to split them (http://wiki.musicbrainz.org/Cover_Art/Types#spine even says not to, but I've seen at least one person disagree with that)

that's was our conclusion as well

but i'd rather keep them separated as usually the spine is not included when you want to use the image digitally

I sadly have to agree, even though in 90% of cases the rim will be the same useless rim

If you're going to cut it, at least don't cut out the edges of the CD

it was really hard cutting it, so for the automatic tools to get it right i just took the edge as well..

too much work to to this if you're doing it on all scans.. so probably 2 for me :P

and then people can cut the way they want to instead
