I posted it as an example to see how to format the HTTP request to musicdns
whether or not you actually use the code is a different issue
HN

HN

does anyone know why on earth http://musicbrainz.org/edit/15063707 is showing up when doing a search for edits for my subscribed artists? I'm not subscribed to radiohead :/
reosarevok, I know you are. I have no real intentions of diving in right away, especially since it'd mean all sorts of figuring out.

hi
Do you know of a locally-hostable project which allows me to host a call-in radio-show online? (through a website only)
VxJasonxV
AlecTaylor, that really has nothing to do with this channel. But check out TalkShoe.
... you said locally-hostable, bah
the only good answer to that is asterisk or freepbx.
AlecTaylor
k, do either have a web-interface?
(to call-in)
VxJasonxV
for people to place calls? no, not built-in. Anything's possible if you know how to program :).
AlecTaylor
Yeah, I do know how to program, but am just doing this as hobby, don't really have the time to spend to make something as big as that
VxJasonxV
a 'locally-hosted' version is a very tall order.
I suspect you may not have too much luck finding such a thing. But obviously I Don't know that for certain.
You might be able to find some web-geared java based sip client, which could connect to a asterisk server you operate. But the quality is another matter.

How do you use vinyl track numbers? I tried putting A1-A5 and B1-B5 in both "basic" and "advanced" editors. Basic just resets them to 1-10, and advanced errors and says they're all in the same position.

And it's bugged out completely, and recursively adding extra track numbers every time I click next/previous ;(

warp: You around?
warp
hawke: yes.

Can you try again to reproduce MBS-2641?
warp
er, sure
hawke
Looks like the part after step 12 is OK now
But the part after 8 is still wrong
warp
ok, I'm on the tracklist tab now.
I open the artist credits thing.
hawke
For me it shows 'Fats Waller' in both fields
instead of 'J. Lawrence Cook' in the first field
and 'Fats Waller' in the …as credited field
warp
for me it shows "J. Lawrence Cook" in the first field.
what's your setup? browser/os/etc...
hawke
Chrome/Ubuntu
warp
Ubuntu 11.04?
hawke
Yup.
warp is running that one one of the computers here.
warp starts chrome.
Chrome-from-Google, not Chromium, but I expect they’re the same enough
warp
I still cannot reproduce it.
I've used /usr/bin/google-chrome , which in my case is 13.0.782.112
hawke
OK, that’s weird. It worked now after a second try.
Aha…
I started out in the basic editor
and then switched to advanced
…Nope, that still doesn’t do it.
wtf.
warp
:/
hawke
I just tried it after I got the email notification and it didn’t work right, now when I try it does.
warp
odd.
hawke
Alright, I might have got it now.
There we go.
*if you click into the artist field before hitting credits*
warp
ah, indeed
hawke
then it will screw up
but you shouldn’t be able to click into the artist field, because it uses Artist Credits, correct?
warp
the artist field is disabled when you have multiple artists. but not when there is a single artist credit.
