FauxFaux: if you're looking for a new report to make, I'm trying to find and clean out all the bork soundtrack "artists" we have, either where we have "performers as artists" or "soundtrack/musical title as artist". If you could, a report of all artists with a soundtrack attributed to them, no albums attributed to them, and less than, say, 5 releases total, would be useful to find the less obvious ones

I start to wonder... As many bogus artists as I find, I wonder if "add artist" ought to become a voted edit, even if only needing a single yes to pass

would give us a chance to catch bogus artists when they're added, rather than trying to find and fix them later, when most likely the editor who made the artist is long gone

I have a iframe/js script that does a lot of it for me, but I don't have it tracking between those in and not in the db, so the checklist does that part for me

btw, for the older VCD releases, I figured out how they assigned upcs. For the 47xxx, use the 7xxx part just like a VSD # and the UPC calcs the same way. For the 70xxx releases, change it to 7xxx (drop the 0) and it calcs the same as the VSDs.

(which also means, since they're now up to 6881 in the VSDs, and the first VCD would use the same upc at 7180, they may end up duplicating some UPCs, or have to change the UPC calc for VSDs, when the VSDs next year hit VSD-7000)
