After that big debate in the the mailing-list about adding superfluous AR's are we keeping duplicate info for now, or keeping the database lean without the duplicate info?

djce just patched the TRM gateway to always return random TRMs
see if we can get the classic tagger to still be useful after we decommision TRMs
xlotlu
that's evil :)
ruaok
not entirely.
the WS will from here on out always return an empty list
so, the classic tagger will have NO tracks automatically match.
but you want to to use it for hand-tagging, go ahead.
Freso just added some (more) PUIDs

Hey there folks, if I have a list of musicians which played instruments on an album, and I know which track they were on, is that enough reason to add additional instrumentalists to a track ?
Kerensky97
Sure if you know it's accurate. But you should still be able to provide some proof voters can find to get good votes.
JordanC
Okay
Thanks

Well, I can give you the URL so you can check if everything is OK
Kerensky97
Yeah, the more of those additional ARs we get the better Musicbrainz gets.
JordanC
I've only added about 2 albums, so I'm a little rusty on it

(Also, is it a sign of failure when you try tab-completing everyday words and not just IRC nicks?)

Not more than your average button accordion though.
Well I'll throw this question out there anyway. Brian says it says "Mbira (Mbira, (sansa, kalimba, luvale, karimba, marimbula, matape)) (7)" but all I see is Mbira. Are we supposed to use Mbira for all of those?
CatCat: OK thanks. Where do I find those extended lists Brian is referring to?
(with all the equivalent instruments)
CatCat
i rented (from the library no less) book abotu this, it explained how the mbira is a huge type of instruments, made for meverything spoons and bottlecasp to processional stuff
