This book is pretty nice

page 10 and it's already explained 1st, 2nd and 3rd normal forms, and not a single line of SQL mentioned :)

you will need subqueries either in the SELECT or the FROM part

hmm, I wonder if it would be possible to write an aggregate function that select on one column but returns a different solumn

I notice guess case doesn't touch names that are all caps. Is that intentional?

They're probably ACRONYMS.

In this case it was some mp3's that somehow got uppercased tag names from some cruddy old tagger I used years ago. I think I have about 200 albums like that. I'll have to run a batch script to lowercase all the tags first before giving them to picard
