Well all the googling I've done has led me to believe that iTunes has problem with mp3's with 2.4 and album art

But at this point and time itunes is (afaik) the only app that can sync my collection with album art

files are named trackNN.flac anyway, so it works well. cdparanoia + flac + for i in *.cdda.flac; do mv $i ${i/.cdda/}; done

so it always played a given symphony in order

but shuffled order for symphonies

since usually one track = one movement

on virtually all classical music cds

also re classical music.. my mother was a HUGE classical nut, both teaditional "classical" as well as gregorian, opera, etc

I wouldn't be surprised if it was higher for classical music fans

also uh, I was joking about the plug in I know wmp is not exactly condeered "cool". and I just saif that, writing a bash script works. if you know how (i don't) and you use a player(on an OS) that can be modifye with bash scrip easily

(I can play piano a bit myself, note: not professionally!)

and why this is related: you might be able to hear details in the music better if you know stuff like music theory and such

well I can play.. piano a little, violin alittle, thromboe, a little, good at winging it with harminica and kazoo, nt to meantion have good musical ear abnd know a few things on guitar

my mother woyld say that classic music has many layer , its "complicated" to listen to, and inded its nice ecause your brain can sit and really listen to it

she said the same about thrash metal, many, many layers of guitars, rythm guitar, drum and harmonies, on top of eachother

but English lack a good overall word for the "vulgar" sense classical music. Swedish has "konstmusik", which translates to "art music"
