I'm trying to enter a "Performed" AR and it doesn't seem to be getting entered.

What's the AR on?

So the "performed programming on" and "performed vocal on" worked any you're trying to add one more?

Yup.

Synths and Sampler, in particular.

It goes back to the release page, as if it's worked, but it does not.

I had an AR not work like that the other day. In that case there was another edit (the same one backwards) pending to be cancelled and it worked once that one was cancelled

Either way it's a bug for failing without saying anything

The only thing I can think of is that it's a new artist... but I generally do my edits in such a way. (Create an artist, create the assload of relationships). And it's worked for the first few.

Although the DBA in me kinda suspects that design is kinda questionable too

There are exceptions like "Remix Official". http://musicbrainz.org/release/65960288-ff11-4a...

Where the latter is remixed versions of the former.

And some "Compilation Official" cases where all/majority of the tracks are compiled from old previously released cover songs, though those aren't as common these days.
