I was originally going to tack it at the end of luks welcome post but I thought others might want to comment so I seperated it. And it's not really feedback or a new idea, i just wanted some clarification on how we're going to use this forum in relation to the mailing lists.

That's what I mean, I don't want to have to duplicate my forum discussions to mb-style. and vice versa. It's a pain, and messy.

then make mb-style the place for all the formal decision stuff

the informal discussion can take place on the forums

maybe the plugins can give settings as to which are synched an which are just displayed and commentable

That's what I was thinking, general questions go to forums, when you want to change style or something major, escalate to mailing lists.

I like the idea of the forum being a place to post questions you would in the chat, and the mailinig lists to post changes to musicbrainz.

So the forums are for "how should I do this?" style help. The mailing lists are for "I think we should change this" discussions.

tripple weird. when rechekking the file (Fhqwgads) it did fine, but it didn't find anything, but now I enabledautopuidding, the file (Fhqwgads) was autoput on the album by Drop Trio
