it tries to guess the track by analysing the music, asking the musicip thingy about it and seeing if the puid it returns is in musicbrainz

umm, they do, but to URL's, they are held in their own db tables

in fact only the country would need to be an attribute and the date functions on the AR could be used to indicate the year

i realise they have to have endpoints in the actual entry though

(and I was seriously offering to go through all 100 odd albums and do the entering of AR's, although I also realise that is the least of the work)

it looks like it is one way, but the URL side of it is actually stored in a table and the AR then uses that as the other side of the link

there's probably not 100, there weren't so many entries to need 2 discs in the early years
