They are talking about changing the school holidays over here. At the moment it is six weeks in summer, two weeks Christmas, two weeks Easter, with three other weeks off at other times of the year usually about halfway through a term. Thinking about a month at Christmas, month at Easter and four weeks Summer.

I used to be on a schedule like that, we called it year round school

but, I always envied the kids that were off all summer

To me it doesn't really matter - no children and cats don't go to school

but it would reduce the chances of local kids getting bored and getting into mischief

then again, I didn't get along with the kids, and got along too well with the teachers. so... yeah, I was often considered teachers pet

You're welcome Prodoc, I'm never sure how "close" I will get because some of this stuff is very non intelligible to me, therefore I give it to someone else and get what they found useful and run it through again. :D sometimes google isn't the best source.

alltheweb is hand sorted by people.. therefore it's not the same as google gives at all, and usually a decent amount more accurate to what most people are looking for without a bunch of the junk google can come up with.

a9.com is also a decent other source
