in that situation it did not seem like, to me, the artist should go in the featured tag. but youre arguements made me waiver in opinion and change my vote to abstain

I suppose the best fix would be to make usernames always case insensitive.

if I searched for 'mo' I got 'mo' 'moo' 'tripplemo' and acouple of others

case sensitivity is rather pointless in a username search

In search, yes. It sort of makes sense for login, but not when you then consider that other things (e.g. create new user) does the opposite.
