right.. this is pretty dumb, but it works. So to get the artist of an album you need to query the artist of the first track.

ah well, i'm not looking for pretty. As long as it works, i'm happy.

i think it's a good way to manage VA

if each track has an artist :)

VA is a case of it's own, but this is for non-VA album

that's strange, and AlbumGetArtistName isn't very well chosen if it applies to each track :)

hmph.. it's hell to do any work when you have to avoid using any keyboard shortcuts, even copy&paste is painful

why can't u use keyboard shortcuts ?

i'm using Breezy, which is pretty broken at the moment. keyboard shortcuts behave all funny and can cause dataloss. CTRL-L in nautilus appears to do the same as CTRL-W, CTRL-A in gedit was CTRL-W or something more destructive.

so until xkb is fixed, i'll just have to suffer.
