It has better library management, as in it will show the tags and such nicer, it can o an array or extra things, it's clean and simple and works

But eitherway, if you don't want to use iTunes, then it's fine by me :P

itunes does have the columns for the song details laid out nicely

old school playist --> media library --> then itunes

It showed up the errors with my crrent tags, on how some were incorrect, missing, it has ID3v2.4 support, unlike WinAmp, it's easier to naviaget my library/playlist and to various other things

oh so it fixes those fucked mp3 headers that show your song length and bitrate incorrectly?

em-pathy to turn off/on itunes features use the preferences (or whatever tehy're called in winderz "properties" i think)

the only feature that you seem to want to turn off is the folder organization

The consolidate library thing, and you don't turn it on to start with, to activate it you have to select it nd that's it

So simply don't select it from the menu :P

but windows does not like it when you have 8000+ mp3s

and the individual ones are in seperate folders

iTunes doesn't auto tag stuff, but unlike WinAmp it has some masstagging capabilities, and just shows up flaws

nah itd be too slow when it cant identify songs and i have to go through and find the artist etc etc etc

i know most of the info off the top of my head already so i could just enter it in quickly in itunes

Fair do's, personally I rarely download individual mp3s, I download an entire album at a time

although winamp sorta does that now that ive tinkered
