alright i think it's safe to say that i tried all combinations of options and renaming of the file in cyrillic works beautifully

but for id3 tags i get either dots or gibberish

i think theres a big difference between a musician who performs behind a fake cartoon identity (The Gorrilaz, also The Chipmunks)

my player is windows i use it to look up the id3 tags values

and some company paying some random non musician/voice actor to do some vocals for their show or a merchandise CD

for instance winamp doesn't work with it and that's fine i guess, since it doesn't support unicode
