jessifan: you only need three votes for something to go through (provided nobody votes again it), and after a week it expires and is accepted if there are more yeses than nos (or if there are no votes at all)

if some random person votes no, the usual thing to do is come here and say something like "some moron is voting against my mods!" along with a link, and everyone rushes to the rescue
