I have found an easy to fix bug in the program...

elinenbe
hi
-
I am back.
-
here is the bug... easy to fix :D
-
if you have songs identified, and you don't want to write certain track tags, because they are wrong, so you delete them from the list...
-
then you press down -- it jumps down 2 songs.
-
djce
What version of the Tagger is this in?
-
djce enters it as bug #822338 anyway
-
elinenbe
the latest beta.
-
djce
ok
-
I'll add that to the bug details
-
thanks for the report!

djce
hey there
-
wb all
-
yalaforge
yup, hi
-
djce
ruaok: I'm feeling at lot more perky today. Enough to start coding the next batch of bug fixes etc :-)
-
Me? Take a break for a few days? Naaaah ;-)
-
ruaok
djce: Yeay!
-
You're about as addicted to MB as I am.
-
yalaforge: hi!
-
I've been working on the tagger nonstop for days now.
-
What weekend???
-
djce
You mean it's not ready yet???!!!!
-
;-)
-
ruaok
Ha!
-
I managed to break it in *really* unique way yesterday.
-
So bad, that I had to get the camera out and take picture.
-
yalaforge didn't do anything
-
All my fault.
-
I wonder about my coding skills when I can get 300 asserts to appear in my code.
-
djce
Did you set "true" to 0 again? ;-)
-
ruaok
LOL
-
-
djce: regarding the tagger release
-
I'll do exactly as you're suggesting.
-
djce
nice error boxes :-)
-
ok
-
So there's a version ready for tomorrow then?
-
ruaok
nifty, eh??
-
djce
nice
-
ruaok
I hope so. :-)
-
I'll still need to update the docs and stuff like that.
-
Once I hammer out the last race condition.

Oh, and remember how you bugged me to creating a polling interface (instead of just callbacks) in libtp?
-
djce
yes
-
ruaok
I'm going to switch the tagger over to that method.
-
djce
More reliable?
-
ruaok
The callbacks are just too much of pain.
-
djce
I must go back to the Perl libtp bindings and update them...
-
ruaok
Windows has issues with callbacks coming from different threads in a DLL.
-
I think libtp is starting to solidify now.
-
I'll work to get a release out of it later this week.
-
On to debug the mystery tagger crash.
-
Anyone here familiar with visual studio .NET??
-
I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the keyboard mappings for the editor.

Well that bug was another examples of M$ crappy STL implementation.
-
djce
:-) another couple of bugs bite the dust
-
nighty night, all
-
and see you tomorrow for the server update
-
Good luck with the tagger, ruaok!
