How are work/part relationships supposed to work? Should there be zero or one parent work that a work is a part of, or can works be part of more than one other work? If the latter, how do you determine if you have a complete recording of the parent work?

I have a work with 40 movements that the order needs to be fixed on. Is there any way to do that without me clicking each one a bunch of times?

does anyone have a recommendation of a command line tool for reading music tags with broad format support?

actually, it doesn't have to be broad format. I'm having a large file tagging issue where somehow a TIT1 tag got added to MP3s (I don't think I've seen an MP4 issue yet? unsure) which iTunes interprets... poorly

so, I guess I just rubber ducked my way into finding out that I can get any ID3 tag reader

find music -type f -name *.mp3 -exec mp3something -t TIT1 or some such is the direction I'm headed

mp3info doesn't appear to have arbitrary tag selection

that has helped me identify things, but...

I see why, `if` is true on $? == 0, which is always the case

that's why I was trying to subshell and |wc -l so that I could see if it was 1 or 0

or if -n ffprobe [...]
