anomie[m]: last time they came up the suggestion was to create an artist like [person performing as X and Y] just to link them, whose name should be changed to legal name if found out

Do we know absolutely nothing about the legal name? (no first name, no last name, no initials?)
anomie[m]
reosarevok: Well, I could ask him. Seems like a personal question though.
reosarevok
Sure, if it's not public then it's not public

Can you vote to remove this relationship please? I didn't realize "legal name" was the inverse.
I think I've asked this before, but is the "right" way for this to be encoded is either for a recording to be a partial recording of the whole work or as a complete recording of all of the parts?
In other words, should the things marked Part A, B, and C; Parts 1-7; Parts I-VIII; Parts I-V; and Parts VI-IX all go away and be replaced with either partial recordings of the work as a whole or multiple relations to the parts that make them up?
CallerNo6
yukk. I wouldn't have made overlapping parts that way.
CallerNo6 doesn't know what the "right" answer is, but one way or another that needs to be cleaned up.
Of the two options you give, I think the second is usually more correct.
Parts A, B & C aren't even linked to any recordings.

OK. That matches my intuition. I'm down to about 1400 places where there are duplicate mappings of releases to works, and I think Shine On You Crazy Diamond is more than half of them.
