shoikot: I'd say editing the thread to be polite and *ask* for help rather than just telling people what to do would be more likely to be of use, but even then, that's not what MusicBrainz is for, so I wouldn't be too surprised if it didn't work. I doubt we would, because it's not the point of MusicBrainz. If you want everyone in the same place for music identification, you should try to get them to a place that *is* about music identification in the first place.

Because the MusicBrainz forum is not about music tagging and identification, it's about MusicBrainz

We want it to be mostly conversation about MusicBrainz, not be flooded with posts about trying to figure out one song or another

forum or IRC channel? I mean, if there were a forum topic/area for identification I wouldn't mind. If this channel started to fill with it though... then I'd probably not pay much attention to this channel anymore.
