I personally don't have any releases in my collection I can't read (latin and cyrillic only), but there are many that can't read cyrillig for example but still like the music

it doesn't help I am from norway with a different translitteraton than in english, but I then end up mashing english+ norwegia ntrasnliteratinos together to form rubbish when searching

yeah, you might need an alias for every transliteration to find it, but then when you have one you don't care much which one it is

german transliterations tend to be there as an alias..

ZaphodBeeblebrox: my point is that people who can read japanese don't really want to maintain two sets of releases. someone who speaks german doesn't want to maintain fake english versions any more people who speak japanese want to maintain fake japanese versions, because it's more work for someone else's benefit

anyways, don't feel pushed to change transliterations, especially not if it is only "cosmetic" fixes (in contrast to switching tracks around)

and have a (single) AR attached "is the transliterated" so they can be easilyier merged when that mess is fixed

Sometimes I do put the arranger in the artist field, especially if it's prominent enough in the artwork, as in Brahms / Dvorak

Well, separator is supposed to be Composer, Composer; Performer, Performer for release artist

In general they're comma-separated, yes

There's nothing specific about arrangers though

(and whether they belong on track artist at all or not, since officially it says just composer)

X, Y would suggest two composers to me, so I do what quite a few actual CDs do and do Composer/Arranger

You can add a disc, then edit it again and add another, etc

To make sure a crash would cause the smallest amount of loss possible
