Well, I just accepted that I don't have the time to do editing too, if I also want to scan 100+ page booklets etc.
Oh. Yeah.

I have a piece of black cardboard I usually put behind what I'm scanning. Maybe it's placebo, but I feel like it reduces the "shine through" of whatever's printed on the other side, which is why the background is black-ish for the scans.
(the writing on the right of the cover is cut that way in print)
but thats one of mine

SeemsGood 👍
I'm probably overkilling the resolution, but I'd rather go too high than too low. Others can always reduce the resolution if needed/wanted.

there isn't an easy way to find out which tracks were linked to a recording that got merged into another recording, is there?
I think somebody merged a remix into an original. I made an edit to fix the relationships on the original (https://musicbrainz.org/edit/54570998), but I don't know how to fix the credits for the tracks that should have the remixed recording

actually that's not a bad idea. maybe I should try it too
(but for reasons of seeing better where the borders are so it will be easier for the next person to crop and rotate f.ex)
also holicrap freso, that the exact same paper sticker with chips shit that's on *my* library's cd's.. I hate hme so much! :D
Freso
CatQuest: I think it's fairly universal? It's the same in DK, and I feel like remembering that it was the same in Barcelona.
