MBS-10119: Regression: Adding artist with "subgroup of" relationship doesn’t add relationship
MBS-10120: Regression: Unable to unset beta preference
reosarevok
Freso: huh wtf. unsetting beta works fine for me
Freso
Ah. Might be a userscript then.
… Yep. I’ll close that one.
Seems like 10119 is also a userscript regression.

chrysn
reosarevok: thanks, will try.
reosarevok
Freso: which script?
Freso
reosarevok: I don’t know. I just disabled GM entirely for now.

hi ens0, do you have more details about your login issue on beta?
(you can PM if necessary to avoid sharing personal details here)

is it possible to split a release into multible releases which each containing one track of the original release?

if a disc ID was never added in a release's history but is present now, does that mean it was imported from FreeDB when the release was created by the FreeDB user?
frickel has quit
(for back when that release was created it was an English release, but was inbetween renamed to the Spanish version, and now I found that disc ID on a physical copy of the English release...)
(and I'd consider removing it from the now-Spanish release as there's no indication it ever was present at a Spanish version)
reosarevok
chrysn: I'd say remove it anyway
If the release has been hijacked
Freso
chrysn: FreeDB imports don’t add Disc IDs. (There’s not enough information in FreeDB to calculate a Disc ID.)

initially. discid was added with the freeDB add thoguh but that was.. soooooooooo many aaaages ago
it was turned off not long after I started
or rather a freedb bot add was made of the disc whne a discid not in the db was queried
and then freedb-bot added an entry to mb with that queried infor for mfreedb with e discid that was queried
or something liek that
was turned on intitlaly to help populate the database. but was turned off because noise to signal became too bad. and the mb-db bcame morre complex thnafreedb
afaicr!
reosarevok
Yeah, I seem to remember as well that very old adds included a discID, although I didn't know that's why they did :)

one more for tonight: i'm seeing "catch-all for all arrangements" works occasionally, are they a) something I can assign to a recording where I don't know exactly which arrangement it is, and b) OK to create? (I didn't find a mention of them in the documentation)
Jybz has quit
yvanzo
chrysn: a) yes b) OK if justified
(for example, if there are specific arrangements to be distinguished)
frickel: afaik, there is nothing to help with splitting a release
