[16:49] <navap> For some reason I keep expecting to find the release 'add external link' feature under 'edit relationships'. Is that just a me thing?

navap: it's not just you, but it makes all the sense to have it when adding releases because in many cases people add their sources there and not to the edit note (and because most people won't ever open the relationship editor so otherwise we wouldn't get the links)
It might make sense to *also* have it there though

+1 to having it in both

Generally we try to always avoid having two ways of doing the same thing
But this might be one where it could make sense to make an exception
(we do have a precedent with annotation being editable from several places)

On a related note, and maybe I'm going too far... but what if we were able to add RG relationships within the release editor? I've had several instances of trying to add a URL only to realize it's meant to be an RG relationship
Could even be a hidden feature where if you paste a wikipedia link into release editor it automatically adds an 'RG external link' form element and puts it in there, or something like that...

That would be sensible, and once the RE has been converted to React maybe we should. It's not a new idea, anyway :D
I wonder if, until we actually have the "artist mostly plays x instrument" rel. we turn off so they can't add these at all (presumably these erroronous rels will be much rares once that rel is in, sicne it's presumably what they are using it for)
